It is a dubbing of Hindi series Devon ka Dev Mahadev, which was premiered on 18th December, 2011 on Life OK channel and was later dubbed into Tamil, Malayalam, Oriya, Indonesian and Telugu languages. This series narrates the famous legends related to Lord Shiva, sourced from the Puranas and the drama is inspired by the works of famous mythologist Devdutt Patnaik. Hara Hara Mahadeva is a serial based on mythology featuring Lord Shiva. ‘Hara Hara Mahadev’ was nominated in 14 categories for Indian Telly Awards, in 2013 and won 7 awards in different categories and stood as the second highest serial which received a number of awards that year. This is one of the most enchanting and interesting tales of love for which the story has been credited as the first love story of the universe. The story follows as Sati coming into the life of Shiva by falling in love with him, their journey together, and how that got affected, circumstances and how it moulded the universe. Sati, who is the daughter of Daksh, a dedicated devotee of lord Vishnu, is drawn to Shiva against the will of her father. The show progresses of his journey from a hermit to a house holder. The serial ‘Hara Hara Mahadev’ is about Lord Shiva, the most powerful God within the Hindu culture and Goddess Shakti. ‘Mouni Roy’ had played the role of sati /Adi Parashakti / Adi Shakti / Durga. Coming to the cast, ‘Mohit Raina’ played the role of Lord Shiva and what not, he played almost 20 different roles in this serial. The Telugu series airs every Monday to Friday at 5:00 PM on MAA TV and is gaining popularity and high TRPs as well. The series was first telecasted on 26th November 2012 with a huge public response and good TRPs. The Malayalam series telecasts on every Monday to Friday at 10:00 PM on Asianet. This show has been dubbed in to Tamil, Malayalam, Oriya and Indonesian with titles Shivam, Kailasanathan, Mahadev and Mahadewa respectively. The scripting has been carried out by 'Utkarsh Naithani' and ‘Mihir Bhuta’ and directed by ‘Nikhil Sinha’ and ‘Manish Singh’.
